Michelle Edmond, MBA
Michelle Edmond served as a SAVE volunteer and board member before becoming the Executive Director. She served for 3 years as the Exec Dir for Sinkler Miller Medical Association, the NorCal African American physicians organization. Prior to her nonprofit work, Michelle worked for 25 years as a Marketing Executive, Director and Asst Vice President for MTV Networks (10 years), Sybase, Wells Fargo Bank and Charles Schwab. She holds a BA in English from UCLA and a MBA from USC.

Robert is recently retired engineer, with a BS in Engineering from Cal Berkeley. Robert also leads a team of volunteers to homeless camps in West Oakland, offering toiletries, clothing and food.
Pastor Zachary Carey, Sr.

Pastor Zachery Carey has stood for Peace and Justice with Spiritual Guidance. His leadership and Spiritual covering has benefited many community members that have loss loved ones due to gun violence and also in service to others through D&N Institute by providing food and clothing.

Michael Ubell is a retired software architect. BA in Mathematics, Hampshire College,1974 and MA, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, UC Berkeley,1976.
Theresa Butler is a founding member of S.A.V.E. A Social Worker for 30 years, she works tirelessly to help, protect and guide children.
Mark is a Project Manager for Bio-rad, serves his church and his community faithfully.
Larry is a devoted alum of UNC Chapel Hill. He serves the public for the Social Security Administration.
Dr. Paula Hawthorn
Dr. Paula Hawthorn is retired, a former high-tech executive, usually at startups such as Britton Lee and Illustra as well as management and contributor roles with HP and Lawrence Berkeley Labs. She was a pioneer in her area, having earned her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley in 1979. At Cal, Paula was one of several people who began an affirmative action program to bring more women and people of color into the engineering department.
